How did you get started in UX design?
I've always known I wanted a career in tech. I came across UX design in early 2021 and fell in love. So I began studying, designing, and networking in August 2021. That, in short, is how I was able to make a career change at 32 years old!
What was the biggest challenge for you in learning design?
My biggest challenge was figuring out how to start my design journey. There are so many resources, classes, books, and articles out there to choose from.
What brought you to Uxcel?
I came across Uxcel in an article I read. The person in the article listed resources they used to learn UX design, and Uxcel was one of them.
What do you like most about Uxcel?
I like that the lessons are short and interactive. It's easy to fit a lesson into a busy day.

Any advice for those who are looking to improve their design skills?
My best advice would be to practice designing every day. Also critique design — always think of ways you could improve, expand, or introduce something new to the things you interact with every day.
