First, choose the designer and the skill you want to develop. For example, Visual Design skill is something you want to work on with your designers. Click on it, and a popup will appear:

Uxcel or Interaction Design Foundation? Which one you should choose

Although Interaction Design Foundation has a designated “For Companies” part of the website, with discounts per seat, they do not adjust their learning material for designers who are already working full-time, and don’t have enough time for extensive traditional courses.

There are different difficulty levels of courses at IxDF, from beginner to advanced, but user feedback reveals that most of the courses are for beginners, even if they state otherwise. That renders them borderline unusable for an experienced design team that needs only up-to-date and advanced learning material. Most of the courses at IxDF are organized properly, but we can’t say that for their site. It is really hard to decide which course to pick and know which effect it will have on designers’ skills. It wouldn’t be surprising if you sat through half of the course and realized it is not relevant or helpful.

On the other hand, Uxcel Teams is created specifically for experienced design teams working for a big company. It tackles management and staffing problems while giving real insight into designers’ skills and offering easily digestible material for improvement.
