My Background
I’ve always been passionate about making life easier and creating positive change. My career path into tech started with coding apps, but it was through product design that I learned how to connect with users, solve real problems, and create experiences that lead to positive change.
The most meaningful moments for me have come from helping others grow. That’s why I founded Student Path so anyone, anywhere, can follow a clear, structured roadmap and access curated resources. Each learner’s success is a reminder of what’s possible when we focus on making things better for one person, and eventually, for a whole community.
Discovering Uxcel was a game‑changer. Its daily UX challenges taught me to dig deeper into user needs and iterate with care. Inspired by those lessons, and my own 30‑minute learning habit.
My Challenge
- Make learning more efficient: I’ve always preferred learning through an app, it’s easier and more practical. Using a website often takes more effort. You have to open your laptop, find a quiet space, and stay focused. With an app, I can learn anytime, anywhere, which makes it feel more natural and part of my daily routine.
- Shortcomings of learning through an app: Occasionally, I come across words I’m familiar with but want to understand more clearly. On the web, I can easily copy and check their meaning but in the app, that’s not possible, which makes it harder to stay in the flow of learning.
- Traditional learning style doesn’t suit me: I wanted a way to practice UX skills daily in small, manageable steps. But most platforms required too much time or commitment, which made it hard to stay consistent and motivated.
Finding My Solution
I started using Uxcel about a year ago, probably after discovering it through LinkedIn. Once I got into it, I became deeply active especially in the first six months. My longest learning streak was 158 days. Through Uxcel, I dove into a variety of courses, earning certificates and steadily expanding my skills. More than just lessons, the platform delivered a wealth of practical, insightful information that truly deepened my understanding of UX. The blend of accessible content, daily practice, and visible progress made learning both effective and genuinely enjoyable.
I created a 30-minute rule for myself: I’d use any app whether it was for learning, reading, listening to a podcast, or even social media for no more than 30 minutes a day on my phone. I tracked my screen time using iOS tools, which helped me stay mindful.
I even used Uxcel’s 7-day referral system to access Pro features since I couldn’t afford a subscription. By sharing it with friends and colleagues, I unlocked enough free trials to earn around 15 certificates, something I’m proud of.
Compared to platforms like Coursera, Udemy, Uxcel felt more practical for me. Instead of long videos or heavy reading, it gave me short, insightful lessons that I could easily absorb during my daily 30-minute tech window.
Effect on My Career
Uxcel helped me understand parts of design I hadn’t fully experienced before, especially the bigger picture of creating a product. For example, I learned how important user research is and how much the outcome can impact the success of a design. Before, I knew research was necessary, but I didn’t fully grasp its value until Uxcel explained it with clear examples, practical lessons and statistical data.
As I completed more courses, I gained deeper insights into tools, concepts, and approaches that I hadn’t encountered or fully understood in my past work. It made me more confident and aware of the language and methods used in UX design, things that usually come from working in a company but which I could learn through Uxcel on my own.
Now, I feel better prepared to contribute to projects, communicate with teams, and make design decisions based on solid understanding, even without years of formal workplace experience.
Whenever I meet someone in the field of UX, I always recommend Uxcel. I tell them, “This is the first priority app for you to use.”
Advice to Other Professionals
If you want to pursue a career in the design field, I strongly recommend giving Uxcel a try. It helped me strengthen my understanding of design concepts and build real confidence. I often tell my friends, “Once you finish one course, you’ll want to start the next, it keeps you going.”
This combination of daily habit, accessible learning, and real motivation is what helped me grow. With a few focused minutes a day, you’ll build a habit, stay motivated, and see real progress in your UX career, one short session at a time.
